- Compressor must be grounded whenever power is applied and compressor is operated.
- Turn of the power in advance of servicing
- Secure retain terminal cover whenever power is applied to the compressor.
2) Explosion or Fire
- Remove refrigerant securely from compressor in case of welding
- Do not compressor air or operate compressor with vacuumed inside.
- Wear safety goggles and gears.
3) Getting burnt
- Do not touch the compressor with bare hands during operation or
after stoppage instantly.

[AC Compressor]What’s the main differences between R22 compressor and R410A compressor?
- The R410A is an admixture of R32 and R125. Due to their differences of characters, R410A and R22 differ from following items:
1) The oil used in R22 system does not dissolve with R410A. So a new oil should be used and so caused a lower reliability.
2) The cooling capacity per volume of R410A is 0.4 time more than that of R22. So the R410A compressor can be designed as a smaller one compared to the R22 unit.
3) The R410A have a lower COP in theory than the R22, compared both under standard condition so improvements at pump and suction or discharge way are necessary. The leakage in R410A compressor may cause more loss as a result of high pressure. This needs more accurate design for the structure and more accurate parts.
4) R410A works under a discharging pressure 1.5~1.7 times of R22. The compressor should be more pressure withstanding. A half-ball upper-shell and thicker shell are used. New design for the pump and shaft has been more done to meet a higher strength. The vane and roller used better material to anti-rub.
5) The oil is different, and the excluding of water and chips are more important. More work should be done for the shift between R22 and R410A compressor on the line.
